Changeover Media accepts all major credit cards. Payments can, and should, be made through the online booking site. Payment will be due upon delivery of media.
We do not require a deposit to hold your appointment, however a hold will be placed automatically on your card 48 hours prior to your appointment for the amount of the service. This hold can be removed immediately should you need to cancel or reschedule, provided you cancel outside of the 24-hour window.
Cancellations and reschedules are no charge provided they are done more than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled shoot date and time.
Within the 24-hour window, a cancellation or reschedule fee of $75 will be assessed. This fee will be charged automatically to the card on file, and the hold for the full shoot amount will be removed.
If we arrive at the property and the shoot needs to be cancelled, rescheduled, or we cannot get access to the property, you will be assessed a fee of 50% of the service amount. This fee will be charged automatically to the card on file, and the hold for the full shoot amount will be removed.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment in the event you have not met all the guidelines outlined in our Home Prep Guide. For example, if contractors are still working at the house or if we are unable to shoot the appointment in full in the time given due to a lack of preparedness. Please refer to our Home Prep Guide which can be found online or in the confirmation email you receive before your appointment.
Late Arrival Policy
We schedule with a 30 minute arrival window because we know that in the DC Metropolitan Area, 10 minutes of travel time can turn into 30 minutes of travel time in an instant. We will do our best to alert you if we believe we will be more than 15 minutes late to any shoot, and we ask that you do the same. We understand that traffic in our area can create its own amount of trouble, but we believe open communication goes a long way.
Appointments will continue as scheduled unless we deem the weather to be hazardous to our equipment or photographers. In the event of rain or snow, we will try to shoot the interiors if possible and come back for exteriors, or we can reschedule the entire shoot. We reserve the right to offer an exception to our cancellation policy in the event of inclement weather, however our policy does remain in place. We will try our best to be accommodating, but it is at our discretion to waive the fee.
Should you have unpaid invoices for any reason, you will not be able to schedule with us until the matter is resolved, either by payment in full of outstanding charges or by contacting us and making arrangements at (202) 854 - 0104 or email@example.com.
Should an account remain unpaid for what we deem to be an excessive amount of time, we reserve the right to take legal action. To avoid this, please make sure all invoices are paid as soon as possible, preferably upon receipt of delivery of services.
Please note that all fees are non-negotiable. We are an independent, professional media company and we try our best to work with each client in a way that understands their unique needs. We understand that each property, and every shoot, is unique in its own way and may come with unique challenges, but these policies are in place to assure that all clients are treated with the same value and respect.
